We have a fine collection of instruments from the most well known to the unusual all cared for and ready to be played by our most discerning of customers and we are happy to welcome prospective hirers to come and inspect before they commit.
We offer you the choice of either collecting the instruments yourselves or we will deliver the instruments to a selected location. Prices of delivery will depend on distance and the man power required so please call or email for a Quote.

Southern Percussion Finance
Here at Southern Percussion we want to make buying an instrument that bit easier. We have a range of great flexible finance options available on all purchases of £350 or more, incorporating two great schemes. For those above the age of 25 and wanting to borrow up to £12,000 we work with our online retail finance partner Moneyway and for those between the ages of 18 25 (or parents with a child within this age bracket) with loans up to £5,000 we can offer the Take it Away Scheme. It's quick, easy and you'll get an instant decision.

You can also include accessories and sheet music as part of your loan to help you manage these costs. So, if you want to start learning the xylophone for example, you could get everything you need; xylophone, music stand, stick bag, mallets and music and spread the cost over easy installments which could be interest free with no hidden extras.
You will need to pay a minimum 10 % deposit and then pay the balance according to which finance option you choose. Terms are available from 9 to 36 months, with interest rates ranging from 0% to 9.9% APR.

Buy a musical instrument and accessories on interest free credit with Take it away
A Scheme to help those up to the age of 25
Take it away is an Arts Council England initiative that aims to make musical instruments more accessible to children and young people by providing interest-free loans of up to £5,000. The scheme is open to parents buying an instrument for a child under the age of 18, but also 18-25 year olds who can apply in their own right.
You can use Take it away to borrow between £100 and £5,000 towards the costs of your chosen instrument, and you can also include music stands, sheet music and other accessories within the loan.
You will need to pay a minimum 10% of the loan amount at the point of sale by debit or credit card (or cash/cheque with proof of identity). The rest is then paid back over 9 months (for goods of £100 - £2,000) or 18 months (for goods of £800 - £5,000) in equal instalments by direct debit. There is no administrative charge or handling fee when you take out the loan, so you will never be paying more for your purchase than the ticket price.
Applicants must be:
Either over 18 years of age and buying an instrument for a child under the age of 18
Or aged 18-25 years and applying in their own right
A permanent UK resident
Working at least 16 hours per week
