Second place winner in the 2001 PAS composition contest! This ten minute piece is scored for alto and soprano sax (one player) and marimba (4 1/3 octaves). This is a rhythmically vibrant work that borrows heavily from jazz influences throughout with wonderful interplay between the instruments. Both players get an equally challenging workout!
