Dedicated to well known percussion educator Jim Petercsak, this work is a 'tour de force' of styles and sounds for solo snare drum. The 4 movements; Paradiddle Jim, Jazzy Jim, Senor Jim and Centemporary Jim exploit differing aspects of snare drum technique and sonorities. In its entirety this work is an excellent mature recital choice, or selected indiviidual movements can be used for exam or study.
