Amalgamation challenges all three players to utilize great rhythmic and dynamic nuance throughout! While only the marimba part requires four mallets, the challenge here among all players, is to keep the interlocking melodic lines and rhythmic patterns in a sustained 'groove' throughout duration of the piece.
