4000 Series - 5 Octave (Basso Bravo Upgrade)
To raise the marimba, you simply release the cam levers, gently lift the spring-loaded headboard to the chosen height, and then close the cam levers. To lower the marimba, release the cam levers, gently push the headboard down, and reclose the levers.Each end frame has an integrated tape measure to ensure uniform height across the marimba.
The headboards feature Marimba One's elegant pocketing that solidly supports the resonators and bars.
The 4000 Series Marimba is made with a mahogany wood frame, black resonators, Traditional keyboard voicing and tuning frequency of A440. (Please contact us if you would like A442 or A443 tuning).
The Basso Bravo strengthens the fundamental for each bass note, allowing the gorgeous lower tones of the marimba to project their clarity even during contrapuntal and multiple line compositions.
